If you’ve ever wondered why the brand is called Kátua; well, the name originates from the word "Katuak" in the Basque language, which translates to "Cat." It’s the perfect representation of the brand’s spirit—elegance, serenity, beauty, and independence. Qualities that perfectly match a Kátua woman.

Note: Basque is a European, ergative, and agglutinative language primarily spoken in Euskal Herria. It is a language with agglutinative typology and is genetically isolated, meaning it has no clear common origin with other languages, which has led to various and multiple theories about its origin.

Now, I’ll speak as Marcela. There’s so much to share that I could write a book. Entrepreneurship is not an easy path; it's full of challenges. I’ve fought so hard in this process of wanting to build what I once dreamed of, and I’ll tell you, although it’s not easy, if I could turn back time, I’d do it all over again. I’m proud of myself because I made the decision to follow my heart and dedicate my life to what I love.
